Clouds: air and water, earthly echos

Moon and clouds play hide and seek

I caught this picture of the moon behind faint cloud traces and wondered what kind of day this image suggests to the reader.   There is a wonderful scene in Amelie (one of my favorite movies ever) where the little Amelie looks up at the clouds which are perfectly formed animals.

What images do you see right now if you look up in the clouds?  Why do we see shapes and beings?  Are clouds daytime constellations?

I really like that phrase “cloud are daytime constellations.” I never see anything in the clouds, or the stars for that matter. Maybe I’m just not creative or visual enough.
