One of my all-time favorite shows is Twin Peaks, the David Lynch bizarro series from the 90s. I discovered it on dvd and fell in love with the absurd and the tragic and just downright weirdness of it all. 
At times I identify most with the log lady. In a scary way, I think I might resemble her, especially to my students. Sitting up there in the front, saying nonesensical things… hmm.
Nevertheless, I share her with you as she offers her comments about wood and fire, two of our elemental explorations. As you watch this, perhaps wondering what on earth you got yourself into, ask why fire? why wood?
What did I just watch? That was so creepy. o_O
If you have never seen “Twin Peaks,” I highly recommend it. It is a truly bizarre show. but fascinating. David Lynch created it and his work is edgy, to say the least.
This was probably the weirdest thing I have ever watched in my whole life.. lol
