An island made of debris, marine pollution gathered by ocean currents called the Pacific Ocean Garbage Patch. This “island made of garbage and plastic” has roughly the size of the state Texas and is made of approximately 3.5 million tons of trash.

Looking at this images it is hard not to think that we are all doing something seriously wrong by thinking only of our own piece of land and not the larger picture. The size of Texas? Wow- breathtaking.
