Life with a stone

Our class adopted a “pet rock,” a whimsical concept toy from the 1970s but after we read Macauley’s essay on Stone, the class decided that we needed to encounter the elemental nature of stone up close and personal.  The links here are to posts from participants in which each shares his or her day(s) with Sam Geodude.  –A name upon which we employed the democratic process of voting and compromise to choose.
