Ice and Snow

Nothing very detailed, I guess, but I thought it was interesting how snow goes to ice. It undergoes a metamorphosis of sorts – frozen bits of water melting slightly, only to then harden into a large mass of frozen water. It’s not very grand of a subject, but it does beg the question of how many ‘cycles’ occur in every day life that we miss.

(I tried adding a bunch of baby penguin pictures to make my post more interesting, but they aren’t loading. Darn.)
