Fire

All is fire, said Heraclitus

Fire: life/death/warmth/ever moving and changing/transforms all that enters into its dancing flame…

Why are we mesmerized by a fireplace or summer beach bonfire?
Why are candles so popular when we have… electricity!?
What color is a flame?

This is a video game trailer that i am a fan of, and i believe that this is a great example of fire. This entire game is centered around fire. If you haven’t already, i encourage you to watch it, and you may ignore the characters and lore of the game if you wish, the main point is not with them, it is with the points of fire present.

Hi Mike. Wow- great graphics. We can see the power of the myth of beginnings here. Fire does seem to have ambiguous qualities: it helps destroy the dragons but its absence at the end of the trailer hints at death and another form of destruction. Then again, I don’t know this story.
