You guys have to remember that Mr. Smith is saying "we are the cure" from his point of view meaning he was talking about himself. Also remember he was a computer program made by the machines, so he is actually saying the machines are the cure. But we know from the movie that is not true because of the topside wasteland that the machines created in destroying human civilization. So is the cure pretending like nothing is wrong because humans have no knowledge of what was going on in reality because they were in the matrix? Could that possible be the future except that machines aren't forcing us to enter the matrix but we are entering voluntarily?

Melissa, great point. The idea of circle or spiral runs from the water going down the bathtub to the galaxy spinning millions of light years away. What is it about a circle that finds itself repeated throughout the natural world? The early Greek philosophers saw the circle as the perfect form: all points equidistant from a center.

Both videos are honestly incredible but I'm really intrigued by his repetition of circles and curves in that second video. Its honestly beautiful and makes me wonder if theres something to be said with the cycle of nature and the constant circle of life...I wonder if this is intentional or if he makes these shapes without realizing through his subconscious...

Wow, what he did here is incredible. It takes a lot of patience, and the perfect balance in order to make these structures. It is a true expression of his artistic ability. I definitely wouldn't be able to do anything that he does!

I really liked this, and to be honest, I never knew this existed! We all have our memories from that tragic day, and its cool how the lights seem to go on forever into the sky. But, Dr. Turgeon, that is such an interesting notion. I never thought about it like that. I never thought about how presence and absence can exist simultaneously.
